What is ΚΝΧ?
How one may give a quick and easy answer for a technology that is supported by more than 360 manufacturing companies worldwide, with an expertise composed by a human network with more than 40,000 certified members around the world, a palette of devices composed by more than 7000 product groups, a technological tool that breaks any previous technological limitations, any technological-geographical boundaries we knew to date?
If someone tried to design a response on the basis of some keywods, he could write words like: Safety, Comfort, Functionality, Energy Management, Full contol of Electromechanical Installations, Scalability, Flexibility, Manufacturer Independence, Open Communication Protocol, long-life buildings and many other such words ... Are some words thrown on a piece of paper capable to give an adequate answer? Is it just the contol of electrical installations, maybe the control of mechanical installations, or both? Or is it just a building automation system? So they can coexist in one building, devices from more than 340 manufacturers which can communicate with each other, just using one technology? All systems are in full cooperation with each other in one project? If it is so, it looks like some kind of building ecosystem, a holistic approach to building more as a living entity that exists, lives, breathes, a unifying design philosophy of all systems that exist in one building and much more...
